Early October at the Prospect Park Boathouse
Set against the iconic Prospect Park Boathouse, this wedding marked the soft transition from summer to fall. The bride’s bouquet blended Peaches and Cream dahlias, airy phlox, and stems of fresh sage - a perfect green and gently fragrant. The groom wore a celosia-and-sage boutonniere to match. Every flower was locally grown and perfectly in season, grounding the day in time and place.
The ceremony took place beneath a minimalist chuppah, softened by color-blocked florals for a look that felt both graphic and organic. Inside, taper candles in faded sage and lavender lined the tables, alongside clusters of bud vases - just enough for early October’s lingering warmth.
